StarCrossed

Hello! This is my entry for SGDC's Game Jam X, my first complete jam entry, (we don't talk about W...) and my first serious game: StarCrossed! Play as a UFO-driving alien stranded in the vastness of space. Avoid dangerous asteroids, collect stardust to fuel your ship, and survive for as long as you can! Any and all feedback is appreciated, and I hope you enjoy. Please read below for info on how to play!

** This game only runs on Windows and (hopefully) Mac. Sorry, Linux users. **

Move: WASD or Arrow Keys

Boost: Space

Start Game: Enter or Space (or click the button)

--- Gameplay Tips ---

• Boosting lets you move faster, but it drains your fuel faster as well.

• Shooting stars won't hurt you, but asteroids will! When stars cross paths, they leave behind stardust, which refills your fuel and adds to your shield power.

• When your shield power reaches 10, you gain a shield that protects you from one asteroid strike. After getting hit, your shield breaks and your shield power goes back to zero.
